The office of the assessor is responsible for maintaining the Town of Niagara assessment roll. The Town shares an Assessor with the City of Niagara Falls.

Challenge Your Assessment

If you feel your assessment is too high, you have the right to seek a reduction in the future.  A publication entitled “Contesting Your Assessment: is available on-line at  tax.ny.gov.

Where do I pay my Town & County Taxes?

Town and County Taxes for the Town of Niagara can be paid at 7105 Lockport Road, Niagara Falls, NY  14305.  Monday – Friday 9am to 3pm.  January through March 31st.

We DO NOT collect School Tax Payments, for a payment location please check your School Tax Bill.

Exemptions

65 YEARS OLD OR OLDER?

Apply for Enhanced STAR exemption

To apply for the Enhanced STAR exemption, submit the following to your assessor:

• Form RP-425-IVP, Supplement to Form RP-425-E (include the Social Security numbers of all owners of the property and any of their spouses who reside at the property); and
• Form RP-425-E, Application for Enhanced STAR Exemption.
